Frequently asked questions.
What is the Joy+Us Foundation?
The Joy+Us Foundation exists to spark joy for individuals and families facing life’s toughest challenges — including those impacted by adversity. Through once-in-a-lifetime experiences, scholarships, and emotional support, we help people rediscover light, hope, and purpose when they need it most.
Who founded Joy+Us?
Joy+Us was founded by ESPN broadcaster Holly Rowe after her Stage IV metastatic melanoma diagnosis, alongside her son McKylin Rowe, an actor and producer. Together, they built a foundation on the belief that joy can be practiced, shared, and taught.
What does “joy” mean to Joy+Us?
At Joy+Us, joy is a practice, not a platitude. We help people build repeatable habits that create micro-moments of delight, connection, and purpose—especially after diagnosis or during recovery.
